Melissa Joan Hart Is Still Getting Paid for a 'Crocodile Dundee' Scene That Never Made the Cut

You won't find Melissa Joan Hart anywhere on screen in "Crocodile Dundee." Her scene was cut decades ago, and yet somehow, every few months, the studio still sends her a check.

Melissa Joan Hart still gets a residual check for a movie scene that never saw the light of day.

The actress, 50, told Page Six's "Virtual Reali-Tea" that she appeared in 1986's "Crocodile Dundee" as a child, but her scene didn't make the final cut.

"I was in 'Crocodile Dundee,' and even though you will not see my face in it — I was cut out — I still get my 26 cents every few months or something," Hart said.

The former child star was reportedly around 10 years old when she played a little girl healed by Paul Hogan's title character after skinning her knee in Central Park.

Hart joked that the payments have "dwindled" over the decades, but she still finds use for them at a Los Angeles bar called Residuals, where patrons can put their leftover checks toward their drink tab.

It turns out "Crocodile Dundee" wasn't the only production where Hart’s efforts never made it to the screen. In an earlier interview, she revealed she was also cut from 1986's "Aliens."

"I was in the movie 'Crocodile Dundee.' I was in the movie 'Aliens.' I was cut out of both of them," she said.

Hart went on to land her breakout role as the title character in Nickelodeon's "Clarissa Explains It All," which ran from 1991 to 1994, before starring as Sabrina Spellman in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" from 1996 to 2003.
