AnnaLynne McCord Once Vowed Never to Marry — Now She's Danny Cipriani's Wife

AnnaLynne McCord married Danny Cipriani on Aug. 22 in a backyard ceremony at their Los Angeles home. The union marks a change of heart for the actress, who once vowed, as a child, never to marry.

At the young age of 9, AnnaLynne McCord decided she would never get married. Growing up witnessing unhappy marriages and ugly divorces, she never understood why anyone would even want to tie the knot.
Decades later, the “90210” alum appeared to have changed her mind when she married rugby player Danny Cipriani, but not without hesitation.

In a post-wedding exclusive with People, McCord revealed that even up until the couple drove to the Santa Barbara Hall of Records to apply for their marriage license, those old fears hadn't fully gone away.
But that changed when she began to understand the idea of marriage. “For me, now, getting married is this wildly sacred ritual of bringing my soul home,” she told People. She said her soul had been split into two, not knowing she would find her other half living in the U.K. as a rugby player. The marriage was the reunion that made her soul whole again.

Looking back on the celebration itself, McCord said the moment did not feel like a dream fulfilled, since she never imagined dreaming that big to begin with.

Cipriani agreed, describing marriage as “a deep honoring of our souls for the path we’ve walked in this and other lifetimes.”
The couple wed in the backyard of their Los Angeles home on August 22. They were joined by 81 guests who witnessed a Celtic handfasting ceremony, among other festivities. They also opted to speak from the heart instead of the traditional pre-written vows.

McCord and Cipriani first met on the dating app Raya about a decade ago. They dated on and off, split in 2020, and reconciled in 2024. Cipriani proposed on Christmas Day 2025.
