North West believes females in hip-hop need not be rivals and her collaboration with rapper Molly Santana is proof. The two surprised fans at Rolling Loud Orlando in May by performing together, though their planned tour was later canceled.

North West is all for female solidarity. The eldest daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West credits her collaboration with rapper Molly Santana as proof that women in the genre don't have to compete with each other.

"It's cool to show that females can connect through their music, because it's always beef and stuff, and it's never like that with me," West, 13, told Dazed for its autumn 2026 cover story. "I never wanna have beef with any girl, you know? Molly was the perfect person to do this with me because I'm her biggest fan for real."

Back in May, West made a surprise appearance during Santana's set at Rolling Loud Orlando, where they performed an unreleased collaboration for the first time to a packed crowd at Camping World Stadium.

The performance was the culmination of months of mutual support between the two artists, who both share a passion for experimental underground rap shaped by internet culture, emo influences, and chaotic production.

West has acknowledged being a fan of Santana's since seeing her perform at Summer Smash the year before. "I never thought that day would come," she told Dazed.

West and Santana have since developed a creative relationship and were even set to go on tour together on the Kimokawaii Tour 2026, following West’s May EP release, “N0rth4evr.” But the tour was canceled in late July, just days before it was set to begin.

“It isn’t happening anymore, but I have something special for u guys. See ya soon,” North wrote in an Instagram story. Santana also apologized to fans who had already purchased their tickets but promised to make it up. No reason was given for the cancellation.
